How do I cancel my subscription?
EntityDesk subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Open your device's Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, find EntityDesk, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the EntityDesk purchase, and request a refund. Apple's refund policy applies.
Are my documents really encrypted?
Yes. All vault documents are encrypted using AES-256-GCM on your device before they leave your phone. We store only the encrypted ciphertext and do not have access to your encryption keys. Even if our servers were compromised, your documents would remain unreadable.
What happens if I lose my encryption key?
Your encryption key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. Stallion and Herd subscribers can create a Shamir's Secret Sharing backup of their key through Settings. If you lose your key without a backup, your encrypted documents cannot be recovered — this is by design for maximum security.
Are the contract templates legally binding?
The templates are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. They are not legal advice, and we recommend consulting a qualified attorney before relying on any contract generated through the App. We do not guarantee that templates are suitable for your specific situation or compliant with your jurisdiction's laws.
Does EntityDesk file my business formation documents?
No. EntityDesk provides guidance, checklists, and state-specific information to help you understand the formation process, but you are responsible for filing documents directly with your state's Secretary of State or equivalent agency.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from within the App: go to Settings, then Data, then Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, all entity data, contracts, and encrypted vault documents. This action cannot be undone.
Does EntityDesk support Face ID / Touch ID?
Yes. You can enable biometric login in Settings under the Account section. When enabled, the App will require Face ID or Touch ID authentication each time you open it, protecting your business data even if someone has access to your unlocked phone.
What data does EntityDesk collect?
We collect only your name, email, and the business data you enter (entities, contracts, compliance items). Vault documents are encrypted on your device — we cannot read them. We do not use analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or collect location data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
